    What is Rent Guarantee?

    Legal & Rent Guarantee is a great way for Letting agents to offer their landlords an enhanced service, while also earning an increased income and taking care of regaining possession of your landlord’s property should the tenant default on their rental payments.

    Should your tenant default on their rental payments, the costs associated with legal fees and missed rental payments can run into the thousands.

    By offering your landlords Rent Guarantee in your service not only will you be able to maintain the landlord’s rental payments but also have the legal costs covered up to £100,000 to help with section notices, eviction, and professional legal advice.

  • Tenants in Situ Rent Guarantee

    Tenants in Situ – Rent Guarantee Eligibility

    Our Rent Guarantee policy can be extended to tenants in situ (existing tenants), subject to the following:

    When are tenants in situ eligible?

    A tenant may be accepted without a new full reference where all of the following apply:

    • The tenant has been in occupation for 12 months or more
    • Rent has been paid consistently, with
      – no missed payments, and
      – no arrears exceeding 31 days at any point during the last 12 months
    • Any rent increase (if applicable) is no more than 10% of the amount covered in the original reference

    Where rent & legal protection has been purchased on tenants currently in-situ there will be a 60 day exclusion period.
